Design Roles in Yorkshire
If you are a designer with experience in curtain walling, cladding and glazing we would be very interested to to talk to you. Our clients are looking to recruit candidates with experience in managing and leading large projects (between £4 – £5 million), and who understand the importance of consistently maintaining the high standards desired by clients.
We require candidates who have experience in:
- Liaison with architects, site managers and sub-contractors.
- Auditing of external resources.
- Technical expertise, production of CAD drawings for client approval.
- Working to tight deadlines.
- Design management and co-ordination.
- CDM assessments.
- Utilisation of RFI procedures.
Our clients are looking for candidates that have the experience and confidence to be able to hit the ground running, and quickly establish a productive rapport with their teams. They’ll be adept at working on multiple projects, large and small, and be ready to be part of the sales process.
The Challenges Involved in Design Roles in Yorkshire
For leading roles in design the requirement is to be able to demonstrate both technical ability and the successful application of leadership skills. Our designers are expected to be able to develop long-term professional relationships with clients, and confidently lead teams of draughtsmen, designers, and sub-contractors to a successful outcome.
Candidates should be able to provide evidence of work in the construction sector, leading small and large teams to the completion of design projects. We would want to see that you are able to communicate clearly, proactively problem solve, and make tactical and strategic decisions where appropriate. All candidates should have appropriate qualification, strong IT and AutoCad skills, and a working knowledge of current UK Building Regulations.
