The Challenges of the Health & Safety Manager Role Based in London

An experienced Health & Safety Manager will understand that ‘buy in’ from the business and its subcontractors are essential to the successful implementation of health and safety both in the factory and on site. Building and maintaining a proactive culture in this area is a challenge requiring leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and experience of working in the construction industry. ZAC is looking for a candidate who can implement ongoing health and safety audits, support Project Managers on site with advice and guidance, and ensure that health and safety procedures are being met and adhered to across the business.

The Skills Required for the Health & Safety Manager Role

ZAC is looking for an experienced candidate who has already worked in this field for a minimum of three years. You will have carried out health and safety audits, and hold – as a minimum requirement – the National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH). You will be based in London, but be willing to travel to other locations within the UK on a regular basis.
