Our client who work within the Commercial Glazing industry are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager / Installation Manager based in the London region.
Working from home and on site visits – you need to be based in or around M25

We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in professional and successful management of commercial glazing installation contracts to time and budget whilst ensuring compliance with customer, requirements for health, safety and quality. Ideal candidates would have experience of working with main contractors.
You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Contracts Manager with the following duties:
·Liaising with clients where required to establish an indicative commencement date ensuring the correct notices have been issued within the agreed timescales
·To review the installation with site/customers prior to commencement of work including
·estimated duration and scope of work, obtaining records by way of completing the “Pre-Installation SMART Form”
·To attend internal handover meetings to accept projects from the estimating/design team with full technical knowledge
·Carry out pre-start surveys to ensure that sites are ready prior to the installation teams attending
·As early as possible, to raise and issue any contract variation requests outlining schedule impact and associated additional cost to the client
·If required, to attend Pre-start/Pre-tender meetings, ensuring contract scope is fully understood and latest issue client documentation is issued
·To monitor the schedule and financial performance of the contract throughout its life cycle flagging any potential delay or overspend to Senior Contracts Manager
·Maintain clear and accurate project and contract records making use of our CRM system as the central data store
·To ensure that all risk assessments, method statements (RAMS) and any contract lift plans are issued and agreed on due dates including meeting crane companies on site as and when required
·To attend to any snagging issues from historic projects, and be able to be hands on to investigate and rectify any issues
Ideally you will have relevant experience having worked within the Commercial Glazing industry previously. You will need to have a valid SMSTS and experience of managing projects and contracts as well as be able to demonstrate resilience and flexibility as well as strong work ethic and great organisation and prioritisation skills as well as MS Office expertise.
Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per year + car allowance.Benefits: Car allowance.
