Our client who work within the Curtain walling industry are looking to recruit a Technical Support Team Leader based at their offices in the North West region.
The role is to test new products into the software and deliver training courses to both internal staff and external customers.
Major activities/ key accountabilities
Training internal and external system users.
Assist in the testing of new database releases.
Creation of training materials such as manuals, single point lessons and videos
Deliver training presentations.
Input problem / request log sheet.
Provide telephone support to external customers.
Distribute updates internally and externally.
Creation and upkeep of user guides.
Customer Software/hardware health checks

Technical skills / Educational background
Knowledge of Microsoft software (e.g. Windows, MS Office – Word, Excel)
Understanding of Systems such as Logikal, Schucal, Kawneer Pro
Knowledge of industry standard CAD systems (e.g. AutoCAD)
Knowledge of BIM / Autodesk Revit
Knowledge of JIRA, Web-Ex, Team Viewer
Knowledge of Curtain Walling and aluminium products and their application.
Knowledge of industry methodology (e.g. estimating, production take-offs etc)
Organisation skills to manage objectives and targets.
Experience of being in a customer facing role
Degree/HNC in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Design)
