Our client who work within the external facade industry of Construction are looking to recruit a Design Administrator/Procurement/Trainee Designer based at their offices in the Cambs region.
Ideally you will be assisting the Design office with administration duties and will work alongside experienced Designers and will have full training and be given the opportunity to move into a design role, you will be involved with the following duties:
·Producing concept sketches, detailed designs, calculations and reports in accordance with project programmes
·Design of project designs under the guidance of design manager
·Scheduling of products under the guidance of design manager
·Assist with site hardware lists
· Provide support to design manager and other team members
· Assist with sending quotations and orders for fabrication
· Assist project managers and site team as required
· Assist with general office administer duties such as printing, filing, design folders, site packs, email correspondence on related projects
The Ideal candidate will be educated to college/HNC level in construction, or design related subjects and is fully proficient in Autocad.
This would suit a graduate who is looking to pursue their career within the construction industry/Design role or someone who has 1-2 years Autocad experience.
